Plenty of titles incorporate cooperative play alongside a single-player option, but the 2021 release commits itself to its concept by mandating the participation of two players. Personal preference aside, Hazelight's It Takes Two is arguably the best co-op game of the 2020s, and something special will need to come out to dethrone it.
